Aqueduct Plays Of The Day

Race 1: Joe Tess fits the mold  that I like to play...turf to dirt...third start since layoff..good company. Barrister Jim has been away for almost  a year..if ready will romp..will be a short price. Marriage Fever steps up off win..cuts back..will be strong late.

Race 2: Splendid Gold looks ready to graduate against these..trainer/jock combo often does nice work..layoff doesn't bother me..trainer knows how to get them ready. Always Sarah comes off break..working well..will be on the gas..catch her if you can. Esther The Queen draws Rosario for debut..steady drills..gets lasix.

Race 3: Hard to like any in this spot. Imawarrior showed some life before going to shelf..probably will be on the lead and take them around. Taking shot with Shylock and Feverish Loot underneath.

Race 4: Another race where the morning line fave Empower is obvious and all others are suspect. Looking at a price...Horatio has not done anything of worth in last four but five back ran third to Read The Mirage who was going very well at the time..could be coming at the end. Salisburg Knight is the other in with a good chance based on what he has done lately. Suspect group/suspect race/..watch the board and play.

Race 5: Interesting betting race. Warrior Kitten is debuting on turf..going long and  getting lasix...Castellano takes the call on this Kitten Joy runner. Apollo Eleven is going to green for first time..taking off shades..was beaten fave in a couple..should love lawn. Ack Feisty...taking a look at this one because of trainer Chad Brown..lasix...gelded..one move over turf in morning was encouraging.

Race 6: Palm Island takes a strong reduction in tag...not concern..trainer goes to his main dude..would love that morning line. Carolina should take money and will battle with top choice. Dighton could pick them all off in the stretch. Read The Mirage claimed last time..needs to find form that he had first three starts of the year.

Race 7: Changewilldoyagood has done good work on the turf before..operates well at the distance. Powerful Instinct will be tough coming from top barn and lures top jock. Elroi coming off break..won on Aqueduct lawn before..smart rider in irons.

Race 8: Turco Bravo beat some of these last out and could be on the improve..taking a shot that he will deliver once again. Cousin Stephen  fought hard last out..another one that is coming into his own. North Slope will be effective up close...will be there. Wicked Strong... has to prove it first.

Race 9:        Face The Race
             Killer Crossover
             With Expression
             Perfect Stormy

Keeneland Picks Of The Day

Race 1: This is a closely matched maiden event... three horses caught my eye.. Samantha Nicole is a lightly raced daughter of Medaglia d'Oro..three starts..one in the money and first start of the year stumbled coming out of gate as fave..she finished up the track and should improve in second of the year..barn is hot. A.P. Sonata has made two starts for the Bill Mott barn and in typical Mott style the horse will improve with more seasoning..this one will cook first time on fast dirt. Spanish Flower has had many chances but has yet to bloom...if Lopez sends then she will be one to catch.

Race 2:  Rous is leaving the fake dirt behind after living there in last four..the colt has done nice work on dirt before and operates well at the distance..player. Combatlaan tried turf last out and is now going back to dirt..will appreciate the distance... Fairgrounds operations have done well at the meet. Sequoia's Mark is a price play..been  in the money in five starts this year..going to dirt..Turfway Park runners is a play against at the meet but willing to give this one a shot. Bad Student has done most of the dirty work at Mountaineer...cuts back in distance.

Race 3: Earlybirdspecial is a daughter of Super Saver and she has had three nice moves over the Keeneland surface which will serve her well..nice post and lasix for debut. Fortutious comes into this dance after two in the money starts..if they go well first time out for Wilkes who usually doesn't get them going early then maybe there is something good cooking.. Blame It On Ed is out of a first time winning  Dam..will be prominent from the start.

Race 4:  The entry looks very tough in this spot. Asia first two wins are impressive and the Lookin At Lucky daughter is already chalking herself up to be something lovely. Her stablemate Hootenanny is coming in off break..last seen doing damage at Breeders Cup..he is a standout amongst these...wouldn't surprise if he wins easily...Saratoga Dreamer wants to stay at the sprints and should be a player..not sure he is up to taking down Hootenanny but he is a tough customer. Latent Revenge woke up when trying the green last out...broke maiden by five..will be tackling the front end.

Race 5: Taking a shot with first time starter Rebel Rebel who is drawn on the outside and gets lasix for debut...he is has been going well  in the morning and against this bunch is as likely as anyone. Whiskey Shiner cuts back..has kept good company..this spot could be right. Yap Yap Yap could be doing all the talking when the running starts..drops in class after exiting strong race last out..goes back to distance that he debut at..will be tough.

Race 6: The bottom three horses are the play in this spot. Rock Fall did some good work last year from three starts. Came back in first start of the year to win by length...will take solid money in this spot and is a logical play. Helooksthepart looks the part on paper and on the track. The Songandaprayer runner had a good 2014 and started of the year with good place spot...will need to run lights out but this is Keeneland and everyone wants to show how good they are. Delaunay will be given that Graham ride...a honest horse that will try all the time...he will be tough in here but worth taking a shot against.

Race 7: If Animal Kracker is 4/1 I will do my Usain sprint to the window.. exit race where the winner came back and won first time against winners...cuts back in green and will be strong at the wire. Nexrad is a Mott runner who showed some promise in first start..should be tougher in second time out for the barn. Seeking Alpha is a logical play..ran well in first start..second place finisher came back to break maiden..going from dirt to turf..Castellano/Brown..great combo.

Race 8: Get Set Go has run against nice company in four starts..going back to dirt..it usually takes Wilkes a minute to get them going..this one should be ready to fire in second start of year. Barefoot Children will be flying out of the one hole and maybe able to carry them at a price. Mayla will need a good off the speed run...the jockey is starting to heat up at the meet.

Race 9: Jockey Maragh and Motion teamed up early in the meet to land a winner coming off a layoff and they will do it again with Holiday Star who is coming off break and should be ready to fire. The price will be right with some others in here but if he is able to linger at the front end then he will be tough when the running begins. Biz The Nurse loses Castellano but Saez is just as capable... horse won a month ago in what I thought was a nice race...should be able to get a nice setup in this spot. Unitarian is one of those horses that you know will always try when he is on the track. Castellano lands here for his main man...won out of the box this year and should be ready to step up in this spot. Long shot play in this spot is Xtra Luck

Race 10: Tough race to love...I love three horses.. Ari's Pride...one run over the track already..love how the Fairgrounds shippers have been operating.... Proud Image...cuts back in distance and should appreciate that.. Silver Morgan will be post time fave..dropping in class and lures Castellano.

Aqueduct Plays Of The Day

Race 1: Domer finished behind the morning line fave last out but thinking this one can turn the corner and win with the bug boy up. Eight Cents has been second fiddle since breaking maiden and is clearly the one to beat. Party On broke maiden as fave last out and has taken money in most of his starts.

Race 2: Free Mugatu has been in the money in two starts this year and pick up the services of Rosario who must be happy to be back in New York after a so so  Gulfstream..he will have this colt in a good spot. Brass Pear won three in a row then fought gamely to wire in last start losing by a head...in form runner maybe too tough. Between The Lines will be tough in this spot..could've easily make him the top pick..Saez is so gifted.

Race 3: Going with Fitzgerald just because of the experience and who has beaten him. stretching out a bit..fought hard last time out..will play come and get me if you can...Rosario trying to get off to a good start to the meet. Ekhlass will be tough..Castellano takes the call on the Bernardini colt..two starts..two in the money..will sit off top choice. Malad has been working well in the mornings and the son of Indian Charlie looks ready to fire.

Race 4: No need to get fancy in this spot..Gold Shield is a standout to me and will be lucky to get 2/1 on this charge. Pax In Terra brings some experience to the party..won off layoff and did it nicely...will be there once again. Zingarelli...broke maiden impressively..will stretch-out...giving a nice amount time to recoup..will once again be tough.

Race 5: Rectify ran a strong second last out and will be ready to roll for a barn that normally doesn't have them cranked for first start. One Sided will take a good amount of money because he was pressured from the onset last out and still hang around for a piece..Pletcher and Castellano looking to have a major day. Fallfire took money and didn't give any back to his backers..blinkers goes on and maybe will wake up for second start of the year.

Race 6: Curious Cal has me curious...came back off break and won optional claiming..will appreciate extra ground...Juba took a long time off and first start back was bet down to fave and ran second..second time around off layoff got the job done..the horse is right and could easily win this spot. Sassicaia was beaten fave last two outings and finished in money without getting gold medal...money should be right and the spot maybe also.

Race 7: Changewildoyagood steps up in class today but I banking on the numbers  ran last time can be duplicated once more against these. Ostrolenka comes into this from break..last seen tackling derby contenders in the Jerome..clearly the horse to beat..Pletcher is back from Florida to take over New York racing. Summer Place To Be maybe a notch below but is worthy of a second long look..comes in from long break..going well in the mornings..shades are off...could hit the board at a price.

Race 8: Nobel and a Beauty did some good running last time out winning by eight lengths...steps up in company today but the upside and morning line odds are too much to ignore...will be sitting off the speed then pouncing when the true running starts. Condo Commando will take all the money at the window...she has been going great guns since fooling everyone in her maiden win at Saratoga...will be tough in a light spot but worth taking a shot against. Sweet Corine broke maiden and steps up with the future hall of fame in the irons..will need some luck for the top spot.

Race 9: Easy To Say was bet down to favoritism against Materiality and finished fourth..came back and won by two plus lengths..now he steps up for the Ben Perkins barn with the underrated Carmouche in irons..taking a shot with a price. Lord Nelson beat Texas Red then came back to finish fourth behind his stable mate...you will get morning line odds based on another in here.... That other horse is Ready For Rye who took care of Daredevil last out...the casino money will be poured in on this one...broke maiden by seven..lost to Barbados who will be a nice sprinter in future...will be hard to beat.

Race 10: Frosted is my top pick..he was my choice going into the Fountain Of Youth but jock made a premature moved that killed his chances...will be taken care of lovely today and I hoping money will drift to others. Lieutenant Colonel  had some issues last time and will need some better racing luck to enjoy the spoils...looking for the ground to be made up with clearer path. El Kabeir has proven that he is a nice horse that can win multiple ways...he may just be like International Star who swept all the three year old races at Fairgrounds or he may throw in a clunker.

Race 11: Palace is in tough today against some nice sprinters..been away for a while after tackling Breeders Cup Sprint..working well..loves the track..lets Go. The Big Beast made a nice return to racing with an easy win last out..will be picking them up in the stretch. Dads Cap was owned by Salutes Amigos in last three..will pounce on the stretch and with luck can hold on. Wild Dude is worth of a big look..did nothing wrong in last start...should be there.

Race 12: Rockford steps up after getting there last time..cuts back in ground..hoping for a price. Finding Candy dips and operates well at distance on the track...Candyman E looks like the best of them all...has done much good running on the surface.

Keeneland Plays Of The Day

Race 1: Fortune Pearl comes in from break..been away since august when last seen finishing fourth in grade one Alabama...won before at the distance..Motion can get then ready to fire off break. Frivilous.. never off board at Keeneland..will sit close and one to catch when running starts. Lunar Surge won last out and kept good company in past..will be coming off the  pace for a piece.

Race 2: The fave will be hard to beat but Highball comes to the dancehall ready to take break from stakes company...he is cutting back to mile distance which will put more starch in his late running pick em up style. Taghleeb will be fave and rightfully so..has done nothing wrong this year..out of money twice in lifetime starts..maybe too good. Ben Baun is a consistent runner in last four and two starts this year off break returned a profit..loves the mile distance and the green won't be an issue.

Race 3: Kings Knight comes off break..love the breeding ..Lemondrop Kid on top and a Giant Causeway mare underneath..first time on dirt.....working well..lasix..I smell go. Japan took everyone money including my own last time out..since then changed barns and stable rider hops aboard...will offer better value. Wisecracker is another that has taken good money and first two showed he is in the horse racing business..will be there again. Transformative is picking up extra ground after not showing anything as fave last out..Casse/Bridgmohan..always worth a shot.

Race 4:  War Dancer makes debut for new barn and first start of the year..kept incredible company in past..won at the distance..won on Keeneland's green..draws Lezcano who is one of the best. Mutin has done nothing wrong in two starts this year..may get some wet in turf..worth a shot. Mr. Speaker comes in off a break..will need good to firm footing to fire..Big Blue Kitten will take all the money..Yawn.

Race 5: Rare Art ran a superb race wen breaking maiden..expecting Lopez to place this one in contention from the word go..the morning line would be a gift. Yockey's Warrior like Rare Art broke maiden at first asking and could be ready to roll once again. Two Weeks Off comes in from break...the trainer/jock combo is lethal..should never be dismissed...will be ready. Silver Ride boast a good effort over the track..took brief break after finishing behind Dortmund..wouldn't surprise.

Race 6: I am giving Sam' Sister the edge based on the trouble last out..I expect Stevens to have her in good contention throughout. Lady Sabelia has done nothing wrong and will probably be your post time fave..if this mare gets on lead without pressure..game/set/match. Stopcharginmaria is just a big time horse..she knows when its game time and will be in contention from the jump.

Race 7: I Got It All pressed Rocket Time last out going a distance of ground and was still there at the end..should be gunned from one hole and them come get him if they can. Kobe's Back come effort was decent but winner was too good..should only move forward. C. Zee made me money last out with a nice win..could easily repeat that performance if given the right setup.

Race 8: Taking a shot with Mosler in this exciting race..cutting back in distance..kept strong company in a few campaigns..War Front..Mott/Lezcano..12/1 morning line..why not. Undrafted is the class of the field and 5/2 won't be there when the gate fly..another good runner coming off break..banking he may need one to beat top pick. Tightend Touchdown should be picking them up late..pace will be cooking. Power Alert will be in the mix early and often..could be tough.

Race 9: West Coast Belle had a tough go of it at Fairgrounds..she never fired in two starts..willing to give this one another chance to get in the gate first Friday in May. Lovely Maria got away from stable mate to tackle this bunch..will them around as long as she can which may be good enough to steal it. Lassofthemochicans..throwout last effort..will be sitting right off Lovely Maria waiting to pounce.

Race 10: Call me stubborn..trying to beat the fave with Danzig Moon who didn't have the cleanest ride last time out..won like a champ at Gulfstream..needs to be more prominent from the start and not linger in the pack..needs to feel the competition around him. Carpe Diem is a great looking horse last time out and last fall ran a super race on this surface..clearly the horse to beat but won't take that odds in this field..derby price will be different based on  Dortmund and American Pharaoh. Gorgeous Bird..no idea what happened last time but willing to forgive that one..expecting big things.

Race 11: Conquest Archangel brings her hot attraction to Keeneland after a long break..beaten fave in three tries..maybe just too good for this bunch..no one to blame but herself if she doesn't get it done. Caroline Jasmine has toiled in second for five starts..will be the one to catch. Chad Brown and Lopez are becoming a team... High Ridge Road comes ready to roll..good works..lasix...nice morning line.

keeneland Plays Of The day

Race 1: I am taking a shot with Miss Cobblestone who had a try at this distance. She is coming off a sad effort in last but three back she ran against good company. I am hoping the keeneland surface will open her lungs and move her forward. Wasatch comes in off a break and gets lasix...she draws Johnny V in irons and will be on the lead playing catch me if you can. Dickinson was bet down to favoritism last time but lost rider....should be ready to move forward.

Race 2:  Ari's Pride finished off the board last time but the company was probably a little stiff..returns to dirt and the pilot sticks. Hey Cuz comes to the party off a nice win and several in the money finishes. He kept soft company over the last few but this group is not impressive. Paden has done some good work prior to taking a break in December. He has been going well in the mornings and maybe ready to start off the year right.

Race 3: Tasseography has done nothing since breaking her maiden... she has kept lovely company and stretched out in last three..today the relief and distance will help her be prominent and the price is right. White Clover is another who tested deep waters in last effort and will come back to earth with this effort. She will be sitting close waiting to pounce. Sweetgrass will be the one to beat based on paper but anything can happen once the gates fly..will take money.

Race 4: Greely's Striker comes in from a break and I am banking that she is ready to fire with a drop in class. In the money six out of eight starts and the Fairgounds leading rider takes the call. Prospector d'Oro dueled and faded in first start. she will be stronger second time around if allowed to settle on or near the lead. Brush Up goes from turf to dirt and gets some more furlongs to work with...she should appreciate the dirt.

Race 5: Sweet Corinna runs for the Mark Casse barn whose runners has done great work over the Keeneland strip in the past. She broke maiden in first start..lost rider in second effort and came back to run a decent second ..she has taken on the TakeCharge Brandi types but didn't fear well..today she cuts back in distance..jockey/trainer combo has done lovely work together and the company maybe to her liking. Thunder Bay rolls into the allowance spot after breaking maiden last out in style...sometime off and has had some steady moves..should be in the mix early. Kathballu is a horse that I played last out. She was coming on late beaten five lengths by the winner..second start off break and the extra ground will be to her liking.

Race 6: Awesome Sky has done nothing wrong since taking to the turf..he would've been closer to winner with a cleaner trip..cuts back to mile distance which should make him more stronger in the lane. Melville exits the same party has Awesome Sky and he didn't pickup his feet in his first start off layoff..will be ready to roll second off layoff and should be on or near the lead. Woodfield Springs comes into this spot off a break..last effort was in stakes company and was over his head..has a good showing over the Keeneland lawn in one try and should be competitive in this spot.

Race 7: Abdaar... Chad Brown and Castellano are deadly on any type and any where in the country...drills are steady and lovely for the son of Hard Spun..lasix for debut..Hard Spun can get short or long. How About Him could be saying how about me when crossing the wire..first start was down inside..draws outside and could have clear sailing to wire..price will be right. Boone Station looks ready to roll for barn who knows how to get them ready.

Race 8: a good betting race if you are not in love with fave... Transparent will probably go off as the fave based on last two and who the company was..three back ran big number and this spot is weaker than anything he has faced. Catholic Cowboy could be the main danger to the top choice..beaten soundly last out but like with top choice this group is a relief. Class leader is the price play in this group..hoping this one will improve enough to bolster trifecta..I am passing on two obvious ones who will take some money.

Race 9: This is a strong running of the Transylvania..favoritism will be between the four best horses in the field. A Lot from the Mott barn won like a good thing last out and while he is up against some good runners today he may show that he wants to be special. Night Prowler is another with tons of upside..disappointed me last time..had some issues and should improve with an improve ride from jock who sticks. Divisidero broke maiden at a price and in lovely fashion two back..I had to reread my program after that win..played him next out and he ran decent.. second against winners and while this is another tough class test he should give a good account of himself. Luck Of The Kitten will try to take them as far as he can and if "big Money Mike" is allowed to put them to sleep then it could be lights out..coming off break after making good impression in Breeders Cup..wouldn't surprise me for top spot but taking the horses with recency.

Race 10: Chucks Turn last time ran on off track and was well beaten..this class of horses are the ones that like to go up and down and not forward...thinking that he can do some lovely work but will have to overcome the morning line fave Moonlit Meteor who is just a consistent runner of late. Da Don I am hoping can catch a piece of the pie..third start of the year..getting away from the Tampa dirt.

Gulfstream Park Plays Of The Day

Race 1: I am not in love with this bunch so looking for price plays is the way to go. Lord Trondor looks like the best of the bunch. He broke his maiden three back and then got ambitious...he will like the relief plus Castellano climbs back aboard. Neoclassic didn't show much last time out after being up close..I like that Prado jumps back aboard.. Artempus has been away for a long time but before that showed some nice efforts. Has been working very well for return and this bunch isn't very scary.

Race 2: Starbound has been knocking on the door and the company lines has kept him from entering. Today's spot won't be easy with the usual suspects sending out charges but I am giving the newly gelded son of Harlan's Holiday the nod. Todd Pletcher's Tinto Mesa has had some nice moves in preparation for this spot and will be over bet because of connections. Delta Outlaw will catch a fast surface for fourth try and may just be right when the running gets going.

Race 3: Flowing is making first start in the state for the Romans' barn..trying dirt for the first time and getting lasix as well for the first time..daughter of Tapit out of a Storm Cat mare should do well on the dirt. Curlina is a daughter of Smart Strike who had a lengthy break..at Saratoga she ran well first time out and has been working well for return. Sally Ride has had a steady grind for debut and will be prominent when they start running.

Race 4: Commandaria is making first start for the Clement barn..she did some nice work overseas and gets lasix for her first try on American grass...Clara Kelly will be better placed this time around will be strong with clear path to the wire... Killer Partner has nothing wrong other than win...Castellano vacates the reins for Clara Kelly but Ortiz should have this one just off the pace turning for home.

Race 5: East Hall is a horse I have consistently played but with nothing to show for it and today I am sticking with this one once again. The competition is lighter compared to last two and if pace is generous then he will come at them. Encryption has been consistent in last four and last time out won by eight..if the pace is slow then he will be tough with the the talented Lopez. Sr. Quisqueyano ran into stiff company last out and now takes a breather..will be tough.

Race 6: I am a Lochte fan..this big boy throws down all the time and if he is allowed to sit a nice easy trip off the pace he will tough in the lane... War Correspondent may have find the right location to do some reporting..shortening up to distance he will appreciate and Johnny V hops aboard. Aripeka will be traveling well and the morning line odds would be a gift.

Race 7: On two occasions Weekend Express ran well when he tried turf..back to turf today..stretching back out. Pookie Delicious is the less regarded of the Mott's entries.. love Lemondrop Kid going on turf and stretching out for first try. Honorable Duty is the other Mott entry and the one figured to take more money based on morning drills...the son of Distorted Humor looks ready to roll.

Race 8: Almost Famous comes off long break and shortening up after testing derby waters for a while. I believe he will love everything about this scenario and if he is given a chance to breathe down the backstretch then it could be lights camera action. Valid is the one to beat and will take money based on last two tries. Pants On Fire looks ready to fire off the long layoff.

Race 9: I am going for the price in this spot...It's A Given trained by Bill Mott has had a steady diet in the mornings and while Mott normally doesn't win first out I am taking a shot. Dekalb County hails from Pletcher's barn.. this one should be rolling when they get going. Scorch will take money after his first try. Second time out and stretching out..will only benefit the Candy Ride colt.

Race 10: Tough Race... Lady Lara comes off the bench after finishing second last time out at Churchill Downs..this is a hard spot to reintroduce yourself but the price maybe right for her to come on down to the winners' circle. Sandiva changed barns four back and has produced two winning efforts for top barn...steps up in company off last effort..sharp in the mornings. Coffee Clique is another coming in from a break..the mare didn't do anything wrong last year..Luis Saez is a brilliant rider on any surface.. all indications is that this one is ready to fire.. Lori's Store is my longshot play in this spot.

Race 11: Beauty Parlor comes for the Clement barn after campaigning overseas..love the fact that Johnny V gets aboard and the addition of lasix will only improve this one...drills in the mornings have been okay but the barn is top notch on the grass. Riposte will be tough ..no Irish Mission to deal with here...Photo Call..is another one who won't miss Irish Mission..coming in off a time off...will get nice setup. Tabreed has been there last two and should be included underneath.

Race 12: Devine Aida has not done anything wrong in five lifetime starts...she steps up in class and can run on anything..she will keep her winning ways intact. Birdatthewire fell short last time and I glad Ortiz is back aboard once again. She will love the extra mileage and will be given a better chance this time around. Ekati's Phaeton turned the table on Birdatathewire and Eskenformoney  last time. Will relish the extra ground and will once again be tough.

Race 13: Imagining had such an awful ride and trip last time out. The jock rode the horse into trouble..I was miffed at the effort...should get a lovely setup once again and will be loaded when the running begins. Twilight Eclipse was once again schooled by Main Sequence...he will be the horse to beat...Glenard ran well last time..when the jock produced him he was on the engine but was second best. I expect him to move forward from that one. Money Talker was chasing some good one last time at long odds...will once again get going and may improve from last try.

Race 14: Materiality owns some nice performances in two career starts..the son of Afleet Alex has a win at distance and I wasn't blown away by Itsaknockout who is my second pick and Upstart who had the Fountain Of Youth taken away from him. I like Materiality over Itsaknockout /Upstart and Quimet.

Fairgounds Plays Of The Day

Race 1: My Pal Torres showed improvement in second start..he has been gelded since...Whoz Talking Now has been given numerous chances..today maybe graduation day. Arcani is another who had numerous chances..should improve with a fast track.

Race 2: Blue Ribbon Gent knocked at the door last two tries..this bunch is weak and he won't need to improve a ton to win... Fleeting Image set pace and tired last out..the gas maybe still in the tank turning for home...New Gent In Town came back from a break and ran well. Should improve second off layoff.

Race 3: Da Bi Hoss is my choice in a closely contested race. He is a consistent horse who if given a clean start will be tough to deal with. Claymaster had some trouble in last start..will be rolling late. Scrumpdlicious is another campaigner who is very consistent. Never been out of the money at Fairgrounds. Ultimo Trago has done nothing wrong in last three races. The jockey/trainer combo is lethal anywhere in the country.

Race 4: Discreetly Grand broke maiden on turf last out but first try on dirt was not bad...I am taking a shot with this charge over Sibling War who will take all the money and then some..that one will be tough. Private Promise and Wind Chill Factor are two that will see action at the window and deservedly so.

Race 5: Cajun Spirit is the least experience of the bunch but has shown immediate grow up potential based on last two go..the extra mileage will only enhance this one. Mystery Gate tagged Cajun Spirit last time and will be there once again.  Catsup exits strong outings last four..will dance up close then pounce.

Race 6: Heitai is the class of the field. Last win was done in stylish fashion..could win easily once again on front end. Benwill is making third start of the year... last time got some relief and was beaten fave...been away from the sprints but did win at the five panels distance before...should have strong foundation. King Bandit won took a break and won off the break..could be a thief off the pace and steal this one.

Race 7: One King's Man is the one to beat in this spot. Since coming off month long break he has shown style in his wins. Galveston Harbor will get jump on top choice..could have enough to hold them off. Populist Politics is an old knocker that will bring the will to fight to the ring....maybe best days are behind him but one thing for certain is that he will be traveling down the lane.

Race 8: Divine Oath exits a strong race at Gulfstream Park...Geroux abandons his mount who had won two in a row for this one. Coalport comes in off a win..given sometime off since that effort and will be prime to fire once again. Slumber barely missed last out..will be extremely tough to over come.

Race 9: Shook Up..I am banking that she has worked out her issues and won't be shaken up by the race... really believe if she puts it together she will dominate them. I'm A Chatterbox displayed a different style of running last time out when she rallied off the pace to  gobble them up..I am stubborn..show me once more. Danette has seen serious  company for a horse who hasn't broken her maiden..I am throwing out last race over the turf...one more try against this type of company.

Race 10: Moreno will be quicker than Albano and will carry them around the track.. he will get jock upgrade and Talamo with his tick reaching to the heavens will hold him together. Mystery Train will be produced down the stretch but won't get to the top choice. Red Rifle makes second start of the year and should improve.

Race 11: Mr. Z..blinkers off.. is such a gutsy warrior and he will once again be there fighting to the very end. The main danger to Mr. Z is Stanford..he has shown grownup potential since taking on extra ground..will be called several times by Dooley in the lane. International Star loves Fairgrounds and along with War Story will be there slugging it out.

Race 12: Mutasaawy ran behind Galveston Harbor who I give a big chance today..he had some issues out of the gate and with a cleaner start he should get his picture taken. Peej made nice run last out and could get prime setup for this spot. Town Star will appreciate the extra ground and will be ready to roll.

Race 13: Grand Isle has been knocking on the door this year...he loves the mile distance and the fairgrounds strip..should get fifth lifetime win. Lukie Joe makes fourth lifetime start..last time won for fun..draws Talamo this time around and will once again make a good account of himself. Cajun Streaker will be going well with the added distance.

Race 14: I am playing three horses ..Billy Two Hats/ Voodoo Spell/Mean Marine.
