Race 1: Mosso improve last out with slight drop..coming back quickly..horse must be doing well. Sheer Talent ran well last out after keeping company above pay grade..will be a contender from the word go. American Act beaten fave last out and will be your post time fave once again...cuts back and jock sticks.
Race 2: Tizapalooza has never hit the board in four lifetime starts but today changes are coming..first he drops in class.. goes from the lawn and artificial dirt to the real stuff and if he can be forwardly place early should be ready when they start running. Matty's Tribal is taking another drop today plus he has been gelded since last starts. Momma Tried got ambitious last start but was knocked back into reality..comes back down to group that loves him and will be a force in the lane.
Race 3: Emyvale Court will be tough after she narrowly lost to Curlin's Fox first time out. Screaming Skylar exits the same race as top pick and will be vying for lead ..second time on the lawn. How highly do I think of the Curlin's Fox maiden win race?..well all three picks for this race comes from that one.. Whisk finished sixth in debut..Bejarano sees fit to jump aboard and I see fit to stick underneath with others.
Race 4: I am trying to beat Never Ends with Miss Centerfold in this spot... coming off long break..working dandy..Elvis just entered the building..top barn..5/1 now please. Never Ends is the recent horse but Elvis jumped off to go to my top pick..things that makes you go hmmmmm..will be prominent with Bejarano up. Sweet Promises will be ready to fire..the son of Bernardini gets lasix and Demsormeaux climbs aboard for the gallop.
Race 5: Kill Shot will fire the first shot when the gate opens..if they don't retaliate he could be long gone in the stretch. You had to think Stevens had choices in this field but he ends up here on May B....beaten fave last out..given a little break...will sit off Kill Shot and maybe ready for a fight. I B Mike is a happy race horse right now and a happy horse equals happy payoff...won first start of the year..I am just hoping that my top three picks won't be suicidal on the front end leaving it open for something from behind.
Race 6: Dakota Kid broke maiden and came back to finish behind Smoove who came back to win impressively last weekend. I love Lemon Drop Kid bloodlines on the lawn and the Hall of Famer will once again be aboard. Circling makes first start for Drysdale in the states..she gets lasix and Mike Smith..two winning combination.... Hug and Kiss makes second start in states..beaten fave last out...will be stylishly ready for second effort.
Race 7: Prospect Park won lovely last out after breaking maiden by a head...the son of Tapit will be tough when the best effort is needed. Lord Nelson would be on the lead from the one hole....Bejarano will have to harness him and if he can do that then its game set match. Ocho Ocho Ocho..has done nothing wrong and Mr. Z and Far Right had validate his last effort. If he is ready and mature then oh boy. Dortmund...powerful son of Big Brown...last race was game but I am ready to pass until next time.
Race 8: Maybellene has kept grade one company in last two..switches surface and should take to the grass. Curlin's Fox was game last in maiden win. Last workut on February 27th was blistering..should pickup where she left off. Spirit Ox Xian debut stateside on valentines day but couldn't find any love..will be finishing and if given anything to run at can be potent. Mio Me stretches out from last start..willing to give another shot for barn that has hit with some big prices at the meet.
Race 9: Kobe's Back come to the arena off long layoff and has been working like he is ready to fire first out from break. Conquest Two Step was a horse that was highly regarded when he won at first asking at Churchill Downs. He lost his way some what but have regain the fire. Wild Dude is making second start off layoff..watchout. Chitu will be the horse to catch and beat but I am thinking this one will spit the bit in the lane.
Race 10: Za Approval..I have been waiting on this one to cross the wire first. Third off layoff since barn switch..Casse shortening up from first start..he has worked out the kinks..Smith stays..its pay day with Za Approval. Winning Prize has lost his way but took some time off to clear mind and if he runs to his past..then lights out. Home Run Kitten loves the mile distance and should be there once again for a piece... Stevens hops aboard for the gallop and the crafty veteran will have his cards ready to deal when the gates open.
Race 11: I know Shared Belief will be tough but lets try to beat that one with a horse I played in Breeder's Cup. Moreno will be on the gas pedal from the word go and if he is allowed to settle and relax on the lead then the mile and quarter that is suspect with this charge may not come into play. His chances were eliminated at the gate in last effort and if he isn't compromise then the jock should sit..not be anxious and let the big boy roll. Shared Belief is the horse to beat..125 is nothing..true handicap should have him touting 132 or 135..he will be hard to stop because he is just a monster of a horse but even superman has his weakness. Dynamic Sky has done most his latest on the lawn but he has done some good things on the dirt. I expected him to run better last out after the suspect ride two back but he didn't fire. Maybe the dirt will feel like fine wine and get him going once more.
